  • Circular incisions placed to be concealed in underwear

Post-operative recovery

  • Wearing a support girdle for 6 to 8 weeks
  • Strict rest for 2 weeks, gradual resumption of physical activity
  • Return to work after 3 to 4 weeks
  • Resumption of sport from 2 months with caution

Buttock Augmentation with Implants (Gluteoplasty)

Buttock augmentation with implants, called gluteoplasty, is a cosmetic surgery procedure that uses silicone implants to increase the volume and shape of the buttocks. It corrects flat, asymmetrical, or underdeveloped buttocks despite exercise or weight gain, making it ideal for those with little fat for lipofilling.

Goals

  • Significantly increase buttock volume
  • Redesign a harmonious and feminine curve
  • Achieve rounded, firm, and projected buttocks
  • Improve the overall silhouette, especially in profile

Indications

  • Flat, sagging, or naturally underdeveloped buttocks
  • Insufficient fat for lipofilling
  • Aesthetic dissatisfaction despite healthy lifestyle
  • Desire for lasting and visible change

Types of Implants

  • Cohesive silicone gel, resistant to pressure and movement
  • Round: volumizing and lifted effect
  • Anatomical: natural teardrop result

Procedure Details

  • General anesthesia
  • Duration: 2 to 3 hours
  • Intramuscular insertion into the gluteus maximus for stability and naturalness
  • Discreet incision in the intergluteal fold
  • Sometimes associated with liposuction of the hips/lower back

Post-operative recovery

  • Wearing compression pantyhose for 4 to 6 weeks
  • Return to work after 2 to 3 weeks depending on activity
  • Resuming sports from the 6th week
  • Final result after 3 to 6 months

Results

  • Improved curve, stable and lasting volume
  • More defined, feminine and harmonious buttock contour

Advantages

  • Stable and predictable result, no resorption
