What is ophthalmic blepharoplasty?
Blepharoplasty is an eyelid surgery performed to correct excess skin, muscle, or fat affecting the upper or lower eyelids. When performed for functional (as opposed to purely cosmetic) purposes, it can widen the field of vision, reduce eye strain, and improve visual comfort.
Medical indications

- Use of fine, absorbable threads or threads removed after a few days
